Cooking with fire has earnt Hastie a coveted two SMH Hats at his latest Sydney establishment so when asked to come two hours south of Sydney, to a remote property at the end of a single dirt track and create magic with fire, he did not hesitate as this is where Hastie really shines….out in nature where it’s all about the wood, the air, the coals and the art of making the ingredient the hero when mixed with his unusual blend of fire and finesse.
This will be a feast to remember of local farmed and freshly foraged wild harvest produce.
Hosted on a breathtaking location on the banks of the Southern Highlands’ Wingecarribee River, each course of the Wild Harvest Feast will be matched with award-winning cool-climate Southern Highlands wines and guests will enjoy surprise acoustic musical performances. And in true WILDfest style its Top Hat and Tails for the men and Tiaras and Gloves for the ladies, all supplied at the venue.
A marriage of fire, food and theatre, this year’s Wild Harvest Feast is a must-do experience for foodies and wine lovers alike.
Due to the remote location, transfers will be organised for guests from key locations in Berrima, Bowral and Moss Vale and this is included in the ticket price. Tickets are limited and bookings for the dinner only can be made here.
There is also a small number of overnight glamping tents available to stay on site, these can be booked through the Wildfest Website only. You must purchase your dinner ticket separately.
